Job description

Title

Mechanical Rotating Supervisor

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources equipments and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Conduct Toolbox talk before commencing work.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years experience as Supervisor in maintenance of Rotating equipments like Various types of Pumps & Compressors Steam and Gas turbines Gear boxes Conveyors fin fans Safety valves Alignment techniques etc.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• An ability to achieve business results working in a multicultural environment
