A leading industrial group in Riyadh, KSA, seeks a Mechanical Estimation / Technical Office Engineer to prepare technical and financial proposals for fuel systems and mechanical works. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2–3 years of experience in mechanical estimation or technical office engineering, along with strong communication skills. This role involves hydraulic calculations, cost estimates, and collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in mechanical estimation or technical office engineering.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of local market pricing and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pump capacity and fuel flow requirements.
  • Review IFC drawings and extract BOQ for materials using AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical submittals for fuel system projects.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and safety regulations.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to source materials.
  • Participate in client meetings to present proposals and clarify technical aspects.
  • Support tendering activities during project planning.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Estimation / Technical Office Engineer will play a key role in preparing technical and financial proposals for fuel systems and mechanical works. The role involves performing hydraulic calculations, preparing cost estimates, reviewing engineering drawings, and coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders throughout project phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pump capacity, pipe sizing, and fuel flow requirements.
  • Review IFC drawings and extract BOQ for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials using AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Prepare cost estimates, equipment specifications, and technical submittals for fuel system projects.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, safety regulations, and industry codes.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to source materials and equipment aligned with project requirements.
  • Participate in client and consultant meetings to present proposals, clarify technical aspects, and justify design decisions.
  • Support tendering activities and provide technical inputs during project planning and execution stages.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in mechanical estimation or technical office engineering.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with consultants and stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of local market pricing and suppliers.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
