Responsibilities
  • Conduct the affairs of the team with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
  • Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function's employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices

  • Monitor and assign work to MEP employees in accordance with Company's policies and procedures and limits of authority
  • Check, monitor, analyze and report the site productivity index to his management
  • Monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses
  • Handle Electrical procurement activities relating to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with Company Procedures and Procurement department activities
  • Undertake Electrical team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties
  • Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines
  • Undertake QC reporting interaction with other departments of Company and clients to assure production schedules and deliveries are met
  • Report on the scheduling of man / material movements for all aspects of construction and or maintenance activity
  • Act as a liaison with contractors and clients managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope
  • Review and evaluate technical Electrical submittals and Electrical shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards
  • Assist the Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer in preparation of Sub Contract agreements and to recruit people in electrical discipline
  • Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company's HSE Management System requirements
  • Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in construction sites.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Demonstrate experience with project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control, accounting equipment and material procurement
  • Good knowledge of construction site safety, NEBOSH or OSHA certification is preferred
  • Good ability in analyzing and solving issues effectively A robust collaborator and effective team player
  • Delivery-oriented professional with proven records of delivering success
  • Well-versed in written and oral communication
  • Understanding of the construction management methods and standers
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of Data Management and record keeping
  • Shows a proficient level of Data gathering and data assessment
