Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in projects. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical engineering activities on-site, ensure compliance with project specifications, and contribute to the successful execution of diverse projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance for mechanical engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure the proper installation and functioning of mechanical systems.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous quality control processes to ensure the integrity of mechanical installations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and industry standards.
  • Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to mechanical engineering during construction.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor and assess mechanical construction activities.
  • Ensure that mechanical designs comply with approved plans, local codes, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design teams to address any discrepancies and changes.
  • Monitor and enforce safety standards related to mechanical construction activities.
  • Identify and address safety hazards on-site.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients regarding mechanical engineering matters on-site.
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide technical support to project teams and contractors on mechanical engineering issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of mechanical engineering activities on-site.
  • Ensure proper documentation of as-built conditions and changes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of mechanical construction.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent site supervision and communication skills.
  • Proficient in mechanical design software and tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
  • Professional engineering license (PE) or relevant certifications.
  • Experience in managing mechanical engineering activities for PMC projects within the Middle East region.
