Job summary

A leading global energy management company in Riyadh is seeking individuals for a manufacturing position focused on continuous improvement and team dynamics. Successful candidates will ensure compliance with safety protocols, provide technical support to operators, and lead improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of manufacturing experience and a working knowledge of performance management tools.

Job description

Responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing / production methods.

Strong involvement in continuous improvement. Responsible for the performance of a / several process(es) through non-hierarchical animation of teams.

Aligns resources with needs within short term horizon, executes trainings where necessary for successful execution of standardized work, leads short interval management at line / process level, formulates / escalates issues where necessary. Strong contributor to continuous improvement.

Main Activities
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and 5 S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Identify non‑compliant situations and behaviors.
  • Ensure proper application of the Process Quality Control Plan.
  • Contribute or lead continuous improvement actions.
  • Make sure operators are trained and validate training levels.
  • Drive real‑time adjustments of staff according to the needs.
  • Drive the actions to achieve service level, quality products, WIP and ensure productivity goals are reached.
  • Synchronize support function actors on short‑term actions.
  • Escalate any disruptions occurring during the shift according to the escalation process.
  • Lead level 1 short interval cycle according to lean manufacturing rules, ensuring the quality of information provided to the Supervisor for level 2 short interval cycle.
Technical Support for the Cell
  • Provide technical assistance level 1 – 2 – 3 to operators and/or drivers in manufacturing.
  • Ensure consistent optimal operation of the means.
  • Perform complex settings.
  • Manage change over and setup, maintenance activities level 1 – 2 – 3.
  • Supervise prototype adjustments.
  • Ensure the quality data in the IT system (CMMS, ERP, etc.).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Quality improvement tools, techniques & models.

Performance management tools (LDS / DISS / MES / ERP, …).

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • English B1.
