MRO (Material Repair Operation System) Governance Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager - Technology Consulting - Riyadh, KSA

The opportunity

This is a leadership role focused on governance and program delivery for large-scale digital transformation initiatives, particularly in the defense sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring effective governance structures are in place, enabling successful program delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Your key responsibilities
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering similar programs and projects, playing a lead role in at least three large-scale, multi-vendor, complex IT/technology programs.
  • Manage large-scale digital transformation programs (ERP systems, asset management, military maintenance systems) with a minimum of 10–15 years of experience.
  • Design, implement, and operate governance structures and models to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Operate governance entities, including agenda preparation and structured presentations to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various organizational domains to ensure governance effectiveness and enable program delivery and decision‑making.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate discussions to support decision‑making processes.
  • Work closely with senior public sector stakeholders and executive leadership, especially in the government and defense sectors.
  • Collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in multi‑country and multi‑vendor environments.
  • Supervise and manage teams of five to ten or more individuals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP and MRO) concepts and related systems, particularly SAP and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with functional business processes such as HR, finance, procurement, maintenance, repair, overhaul, supply chain management, and asset management in military contexts.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Experience in the government sector, specifically in defense – mandatory.
  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia – a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and MRO concepts and related systems.
  • Proven experience in managing large‑scale digital transformation programs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interface confidently with senior leadership.
  • Experience in designing and implementing governance structures and models.
