Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Manager / Subject Matter Expert (Technology & Systems Support Lead) to join our team! The Technology & Systems Support Lead will play a critical role in overseeing and managing technology systems, ensuring seamless integration, and providing expert-level support for the Jeddah Central Development Project. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project-specific technology needs. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technology and systems, driving innovation and ensuring operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of technology systems and infrastructure for the project.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet project requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the integration of cutting‑edge technologies, including IoT, AI, and smart city solutions, into the project framework.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of technology systems.
  • Provide expert‑level support for all technology systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
  • Develop and implement system monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical problems, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technology‑related matters, liaising with project stakeholders, contractors, and government entities.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technology strategies with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for the project, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of the Jeddah Central Development Project.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions into the project as appropriate.
  • Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost‑effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all technology systems comply with local regulations, international standards, and project‑specific requirements.
  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems from potential threats.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and security of all technology systems.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology management, systems support, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing large‑scale technology implementations, preferably in urban development or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in smart city technologies, IoT, and AI integration is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.li>
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
