Parsons is looking for a Manager - Marine Infrastructure and Utilities to join our team.

The Manager - Marine Infrastructure and Utilities is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, maintenance, and operation of marine infrastructure and associated utilities. This role ensures the efficient functioning of marine facilities, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and optimal utilization of resources to support operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead infrastructure development projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges or risks.

  • Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of marine infrastructure, including ports, docks, jetties, and associated utilities.

  • Ensure infrastructure meets operational requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement or repair.

  • Manage the operation and maintenance of utilities supporting marine infrastructure, such as water supply systems, power distribution, and waste management facilities.

  • Optimize utility systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Ensure all marine infrastructure and utility operations comply with local, national, and international regulations.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational and environmental risks.

  • Maintain emergency response plans for infrastructure and utility systems.

  • Liaise with government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to address concerns and align infrastructure development with broader objectives.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Degree in Civil/Marine Engineering, Maritime Management, or related field.

  • 15+ years’ experience in marine infrastructure, port/marina operations, or asset management.

  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.

  • Proven ability to manage complex assets and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

  • Expertise in lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies, and performance monitoring systems for marine infrastructure and utilities.
