The Manager – Design leads the creative and visual communication function within Qiddiya’s Transport Business Unit, transforming data and strategy into compelling, executive-quality visuals.
This role requires an experienced creative professional with a strong understanding of corporate storytelling and design strategy. The Design Manager is responsible for the design, production, and continuous improvement of presentation materials, reports, dashboards, and communication assets that articulate Qiddiya’s transport vision with clarity and impact.
- Develop and execute the BU’s visual communication approach, ensuring a unified design language aligned with Qiddiya’s corporate identity.
- Lead the creation of high-impact materials for governance, executive reviews, and strategic reporting.
- Translate complex technical, financial, and operational data into clear, visually engaging graphics, charts, and layouts that enhance understanding.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring timely delivery of polished and error-free materials.
- Build and maintain reusable design assets (templates, charts, iconography, etc.) for consistent communication across the BU.
- Review and approve all design outputs to ensure precision, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Work closely with Reporting, Strategy, and PMO teams to align visuals with strategic objectives and core messages.
- Provide oversight to external design vendors, ensuring that all contracted work aligns with Qiddiya’s visual and communication standards.
- Introduce modern design tools, techniques, and data visualization practices to improve efficiency and storytelling quality.
- Train and coach internal teams on presentation design, visual storytelling, and best practices in communication design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Proven experience producing executive-level materials for consulting, corporate strategy, or design agencies.
- Strong command of PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Excellent eye for design, typography, and data visualization.
Professional Certifications
- Professional design or visual communication certification preferred.
- Training in corporate storytelling or business communication advantageous.
Years of Experience
- 6 – 10 years of experience in presentation design or creative production roles.
- Prior experience working in or supporting consulting firms (e.g., BCG, Deloitte, PwC) or equivalent design agencies preferred.
