Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Reports to: Financial Controller

Role Overview

The Manager – Accounts will lead the core accounting operations across SPV and O&M entities, with a focus on payables, receivables, statutory and management reporting, bank reconciliations, control accounts, and compliance. This role is instrumental in driving month-end closings, maintaining audit readiness, and ensuring financial accuracy across all ledgers. The Manager will supervise junior accountants and coordinate closely with shared services and project finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate posting and timely reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities including accruals, adjustments, and financial schedules.
  • Lead the preparation and review of trial balances, ledger accounts, and periodic financial reports.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, daily fund monitoring, and treasury documentation.
  • Reconcile control accounts including intercompany, shareholder, and tax-related accounts.
  • Prepare management and statutory reporting packs in line with IFRS and ZATCA compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits through timely provision of ledgers, schedules, and justifications.
  • Oversee petty cash management and employee expense claims in accordance with policy.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on deviations from budgets or forecasts.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Master’s in Accounting or Finance. CA, CMA, ACCA
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting roles with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Experience in project-based, infrastructure, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Tax and Zakat applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong command over ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting, bank reconciliations, and audit processes.
