Job description
Role Purpose

Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of all plant systems and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Ensure equipment efficiency, safety compliance, and operational excellence across UHT and TTOP cells, in line with Al Safi Danone’s manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Monitor performance KPIs (TE, OE, MTTR, MTBF, TD) and use them to develop maintenance action plans.
  • Lead and manage maintenance resources for UHT and TTOP production cells, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Apply preventive maintenance programs and ensure the availability of spare parts.
  • Determine and justify the maintenance budget (spare parts, internal labor, contractors).
  • Support production by ensuring all maintenance activities meet SQCDM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale) standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following GMP, 5S, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) application during troubleshooting and plant activities.
  • Report safety risks, near-misses, and takes corrective actions to maintain zero-incident operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to achieve world‑class manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Automation, and Safety teams to ensure smooth maintenance support.
Key Accountabilities
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules aligned with site priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Food Safety systems and policies.
  • Contribute to maintenance budget preparation and variance monitoring.
  • Track and report maintenance activities accurately and on time.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency, and reliability improvements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food or FMCG industry).
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical ability.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and reliability metrics.
  • Understanding of safety procedures, GMP, and food safety systems.
  • Team collaboration and continuous improvement mindset.
