Maintenance Technician
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, maintaining equipment efficiency, and complying with safety and quality standards across industrial, commercial, or residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic instrumentation faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Attend breakdown calls promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruption.
- Inspect, service, and maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors, panels, lighting, and utility equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports as per company procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and site HSE standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment when required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and ensure proper tool management.
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands‑on experience as a Maintenance Technician.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance environments preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Practical troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance tasks.
