This position is based in Ireland.

A leading Engineering company in Ireland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Facilities Fitter to join their team in Ballinlough, Dublin 4. This role is crucial for maintaining the electrical systems that ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our client's engineering facilities.

As a Maintenance Facilities Fitter, you'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot electrical failures, and execute preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems within a large industrial facility. You'll be using various tools, testers, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs, and you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical work complies with Irish safety standards. The role may require occasional travel to other sites.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have proven experience in electrical maintenance and a strong understanding of safety regulations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Safe Pass certification is required.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of Irish electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Benefits
  • Salary: The starting salary is €62,193 per year, or €23.44 per hour, based on a 39-hour work week. Your salary may be higher based on experience and will increase proportionately for additional hours worked. Overtime is available and paid at applicable rates.
