Job Summary

A Machinist Technician is responsible for operating machine tools to fabricate, repair, or modify mechanical parts and components according to specifications. The role involves reading technical drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring precision and quality in all machining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other workshop equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical components and parts.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machining tools and equipment.
