Job summary

A luxury hospitality establishment in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Buyer / Purchase Assistant to manage purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma in Finance/Purchasing and at least 1 year of experience in a similar luxury hotel setting. Proficiency in advanced MS Office and Materials Control is required, along with fluency in English. This role is designated for Saudi nationals in compliance with local labor laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in Finance/Purchasing and Supply.
• 1 year experience in a similar setting, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Outlook platforms, and Materials Control (MC).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• React to daily operating problems and offer solutions.
• Ensure verification of authorization of purchase requisition.
• Be responsible for selecting and approving suppliers, negotiating the best deals.
• Issue and approve purchase orders, record accordingly.
• Conduct market surveys and report to Purchasing Manager.
• Prepare monthly and year-end reports.
• Administer purchasing department and oversee store operations.
• Adhere to Six Senses guidelines and standards of service.
