We are looking for a reliable and organized Logistics Technician to support our logistics and warehouse operations. The Logistics Technician will be responsible for handling, storing, and tracking materials, equipment, and products to ensure accurate and timely distribution within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases using ERP or warehouse systems.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, following safety and organizational guidelines.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal departments to meet delivery timelines.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
- 12 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping / receiving role.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software or ERP systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation (domestic and international).
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling (if applicable).
- Experience with lean logistics or continuous improvement initiatives.
