Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Team Leader to oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will supervise a team of logistics personnel, ensure smooth workflow, and uphold company standards for efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate logistics staff in receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Monitor team performance, assign daily tasks, and ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies across all logistics operations.
  • Work closely with inventory control, procurement, and transport teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize delays.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to logistics staff.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of shipping and receiving activities using ERP or WMS systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute to process optimization.
  • Report KPIs, operational updates, and staffing needs to the Logistics Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Forklift certification and understanding of warehouse equipment operations.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in warehousing and logistics.
