Logistics Manager – Overview
We are looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Taj HR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a thorough understanding of logistics principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain process.
- Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and transportation operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets and ensure expenses remain within approved financial targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and enhance overall productivity.
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations related to logistics operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management or kitchen-closet industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, warehousing strategies, and inventory management.
- Proven experience in managing logistics teams and leading projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
