Logistics Intermodal Executive

We are searching for an experienced Logistics Intermodal Executive at our MSC Saudi Arabia - Ad Dammam facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Development
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Develop new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement and market research.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, ensuring trust and satisfaction from the first interaction.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate competitive proposals including pricing, service offerings, and contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to propose strategic solutions.
Technical & Analytical Responsibilities
  • Analyze rate structures, transport modes, and route flows to design cost‑effective and efficient logistics solutions.
  • Evaluate operational profitability, margins, and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track opportunities, and monitor customer performance.
  • Generate reports and insights using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and, ideally, Power BI to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Support intermodal operations by coordinating with trucking, clearance, and warehousing partners.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, intermodal operations, or freight forwarding sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing profitable accounts (recommendation letter preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Power BI and CRM platforms is a plus.
  • In‑depth understanding of local and regional logistics market dynamics, including trucking and clearance operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking with financial acumen and attention to detail.
