Job Description

Parsons are looking for an amazingly talented Logistic Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team on King Salman International Airport (KSIA)!

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Planning and Coordination

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.

• Coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of resources while minimizing delays and costs.

• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and project teams to streamline logistics operations.

AutoCAD Operations

• Create, review, and modify detailed site layouts and logistics plans using AutoCAD.

• Design material storage areas, equipment placement zones, and traffic flow routes on-site.

• Ensure AutoCAD drawings align with project specifications and safety standards.

PowerPoint (PPT) Presentations

• Prepare professional presentations to communicate logistics plans, progress updates, and project milestones.

• Use PowerPoint to present data, visuals, and reports to stakeholders, including project managers and clients.

• Ensure presentations are clear, concise, and visually impactful.

Document Management (DM) Operations

• Organize and maintain project documentation, including logistics plans, schedules, and reports.

• Utilize DM systems to track, store, and retrieve documents efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with document control procedures and maintain version control for all project-related files.

Digital Logistics Tools

• Implement and manage digital logistics platforms to optimize resource tracking and scheduling.

• Use software tools for real-time monitoring of deliveries, inventory, and equipment movement.

• Analyze data from digital logistics systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

On-Site Coordination

• Supervise on-site logistics activities, including material handling, equipment movement, and workforce deployment.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.

• Address logistical challenges promptly to avoid project delays.

Communication and Reporting

• Act as a liaison between project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth communication.

• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.

• Provide actionable recommendations to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying site layouts and logistics plans.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) for preparing professional presentations.

• Experience with Document Management (DM) systems for organizing and maintaining project documentation.

• Familiarity with Digital Logistics tools for tracking and optimizing resource movement.

Construction and Infrastructure Knowledge

• Understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment used in infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of site safety regulations and quality standards.

Organizational and Analytical Skills

• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Analytical mindset to interpret data from digital logistics systems and identify areas for improvement.

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.

Other Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience in logistics coordination on infrastructure projects.

• Certification in AutoCAD or related software.

• Familiarity with digital logistics platforms such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) or other construction-specific software.
