We're looking for an experienced and adaptable Live-in Private Chef to join a family of four in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting September 2025.

The chef will manage all culinary needs for the family and occasional guests, focusing on healthy, high-quality, and diverse international cuisine.

The chef needs to have great knowledge of pastry and baking. They should be good team players, as some areas of the kitchen are shared with another chef. Occasionally, the chef will need to cook for the staff, although this will be a rare occurrence. The client values innovation, enthusiasm, and a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing daily meals for a family of four, focusing on healthy, high-quality, and diverse international cuisine.
  • Planning menus with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and nutritional balance.
  • Sourcing fresh ingredients and managing kitchen inventory.
  • Practicing smart budget control and cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality, and sticking to budgets provided.
  • Catering for occasional guests and events.
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Utilising homegrown produce from the garden and managing its care and upkeep.
  • Demonstrating creativity and a willingness to explore new dishes and techniques.
Working Hours

Six days a week, with one flexible day off.

  • Kids' breakfast around 7:00 AM.
  • Adults' breakfast around 9:00 AM.
  • Adults' lunch (if kids are at school).
  • Kids' dinner around 6:00 PM.
  • Adults' dinner around 8:30 PM.
  • Weekend family lunch around 1:30 PM.
  • Kids' meal times are generally consistent, while adult meal times may vary.
