Job summary

A leading production and event services company seeking a Lighting Engineer to assist in preparing and testing lighting equipment. Responsibilities include setting up for events and ensuring safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a minimum of a High School Diploma, experience with lighting technology, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of CAD and automated fixtures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Associate degree is desirable.
• Experience working on large scale events in both concert and corporate environments.
• Experience with automated fixtures and dimmers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing equipment orders and testing all lighting fixtures.
• Set up, operate and de-rig equipment for events.
• Support maintenance to ensure equipment is in a good, safe condition.

Skills

Good understanding of lighting technology

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure

Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
