We’re expanding our Learning team within Amazon Operations! The Last Mile Learning Associate works with Operations Managers, Area Managers and associates, constantly improving the long‑term capabilities of the area to which he or she is assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of a group as well as one‑on‑one, give and receive feedback effectively, follow up and meet time commitments and deadlines, be goal‑oriented, give insight to area managers, work hard for the success of others, remain customer‑obsessed, demonstrate a positive “can do” demeanor, and enjoy and gain energy from working with others. Measure Associate performance around Safety, Quality, and Productivity by applying learning tools to improve operation metrics. Improve associates’ job‑related skills; develop, maintain and apply learning tools (methods, checklists and skill‑building agreements) to encourage associate development and drive success of peak and non‑peak training plans.

The Learning Associate will achieve this objective by:

  • Executing all standard trainer tasks as outlined on the Trainer Standard Work Checklist
  • Delivering network standard training
  • Partnering with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas
  • Directly coaching associates to improve job performance
  • Managing training compliance to ensure accurate training records are housed correctly
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
