Job description
Lead Construction Engineer - Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom (E&I&T)

Lead and manage all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom construction activities on site, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely execution in accordance with Local Saudi Arabia standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead E&I&T construction works including LV/MV/HV systems, substations, instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SIS, and telecom systems (FOC, PA/GA, CCTV).
  • Act as the primary E&I&T interface with EPC contractors, PMC, client, vendors, and commissioning teams.
  • Ensure compliance with SAES, SAMSS, SABIC Engineering Standards, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and ISA.
  • Review and approve method statements, ITPs, work packs, and technical queries.
  • Enforce HSE requirements, PTW, LOTO, and electrical safety practices.
  • Monitor progress, manpower, and material availability; resolve site issues.
  • Lead pre‑commissioning, testing, and support commissioning up to handover.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
  • 15+ years E&I construction experience, including Lead role on Local Saudi Arabia projects.
  • Strong EPC/PMC site experience in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
