Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural design for mixed-use, hospitality, and residential developments—from concept and master planning through permitting, detailed design, and construction documentation
- Direct multi-disciplinary design teams and external consultants to ensure design quality, coordination, and on-time deliverables across all project phases
- Establish and enforce design standards, review procedures, and performance metrics emphasizing sustainability, cultural alignment, and innovation (e.g., LEED/WELL frameworks)
- Conduct rigorous design reviews (drawings, models, BOQs, specifications) to assure technical accuracy, cost alignment, and compliance with Saudi building codes and authorities
- Drive issue resolution early in the design phase by identifying coordination gaps and mitigating downstream construction risks
- Present design intent and progress to executive leadership, investors, and government stakeholders; secure approvals, NOCs, and building permits
- Champion digital workflows (BIM) and advanced visualization to enhance decision-making and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
- 11–15 years of progressive architectural experience with a strong track record delivering large-scale real estate developments in the region
- Previous experience with government-backed projects or top-tier developers (e.g., NEOM, ROSHN, Diriyah Gate, Red Sea Global, Dar Al Arkan, Osus, Ajdan, Tatweer, Kaden)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; deep proficiency with BIM and visualization tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, and presentation software)
- Expert knowledge of Saudi codes, permitting processes, and authority coordination; familiarity with Vision 2030 priorities and cultural context
- Understanding of cultural and Islamic architectural design principles
- Demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional teams and multiple consultants from concept through delivery
- Proven capability in design governance, technical reviews, value engineering, and cost/design alignment
- Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and negotiation skills; Arabic/English bilingual proficiency is a strong advantage
