Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology), Agriculture, or Pharmacy.
- Previous work experience in a multinational FMCG company.
- Proven experience in food safety auditing and quality assurance systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Supervise chemical and microbiological testing according to approved standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene requirements.
- Develop the technical skills of laboratory personnel through training and mentoring.
- Prepare and submit periodic technical reports to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative and Technical Supervision
- Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assign tasks to laboratory staff and monitor workflow and performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Quality and Accreditation Management
- Implement and maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Review and update laboratory procedures, test methods, and quality manuals.
- Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Sample Testing and Result Verification
- Supervise chemical and microbiological testing according to approved standards and methods.
- Review and approve test results prior to release.
- Investigate non-conformities and develop corrective measures.
- Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure laboratory operations comply with food safety standards and hygiene requirements.
- Participate in internal and external food safety audits and inspections.
