Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As the Kitchen Supervisor, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to our restaurant's standards and procedures
  • Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met and maintained
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and specials
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Handle any customer complaints or issues related to the kitchen
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding of new kitchen staff
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve our kitchen operations
Qualifications
