A governmental department in Australia is seeking a Kinship Engagement Coordinator to implement the kinship care model. The role involves fostering strong connections with stakeholders, providing expert advice, and contributing to service development. Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and may undergo pre-employment screening.
Situated in the Placement Coordination Unit in one of 17 department areas, the Kinship Engagement Worker will play a pivotal role to implement the model of kinship care in Victoria.
The Kinship Engagement Coordinator will work to identify potential kinship carers in a child or young person's network, supervising staff providing ongoing kinship placement support.
The Kinship Engagement Coordinator will work closely with Child Protection to support the case plan goals.
