HEAD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL - IMMEDIATE

Location: Dammam, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia

School Type: International UK private school for locals and expatriates (not typical western)

Curriculum: Cambridge Curriculum - IGCSE / A-level

Gender: Segregated at Grade 1 - separate boys and girls sections

Ministry Requirements: Applicants must be female due to need to enter girls section

Responsibilities

The school is seeking a Middle School Leader who will be responsbile for the curriculum management and implementation for Middle School. The School’s Principals are tasked with the full responsibility for everything related to the academic programs. Those responsibilities include: curriculum, instruction, assessment, faculty development and student achievement. There will be a big focus on teacher training to many non-UK members of staff.

Requirements

• BA or BS in education, MEd in School or Educational Leadership.
• 3-5 years teaching experience - minimum of 3 years middle level leadership experience
• Experience in KSA a plus but not a requirement
• Experience in teaching and leading in a Cambridge Curriculum school.
