Overview
As an IT Systems Engineer, will provide technical support across the Sahm office, internal and external DC, help desk, perform high standard system/network development and vendor interaction.
Responsibilities
The IT System Engineer’s tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software, hardware, and network
- Walk colleagues through steps to help them resolve their technical problems
- Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues with IT scheduled activities
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Strong learning ability and sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, willing to accept challenging work, able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up and managing accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing and support the implementation of new technology, solutions, or applications
- Occasionally require working in data center for the network changes
- Possibly provide end-user training
- Learn the company's internal knowledge base documents and create new knowledge base documents IT related
Education
Bachelor of Science Information Technology or equivalent degree
Qualifications And Experience
- 2-4 years of experience.
- (Must have)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- MCSA, higher certificate, or equivalent certification.
- Avaya Aura Call Center Administration & Configuration
- VMWare vSphere ESXi and vCenter Administration
- Native Arabic fluent in write and speak English
- Preferred Diploma or Certificate in Computing, Engineering, or related field experience would be an advantage
- Minimum two years of experience in Networking and System fields
- Knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
- Excellent skills to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion
- Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and teams with technical problems
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a polite and professional manners
