Presales Specialist
Presales Specialists support the sales team by providing technical expertise, demonstrations, and solution presentations to potential customers. Their ability to understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions drives successful presales engagements. Presales Specialists play a key role in building customer confidence, addressing technical concerns, and winning sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions and organize, plan, create & deliver compelling proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.
- Ensure solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and align with client requirements.
- Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
- Liaise with Product Managers to provide client feedback on product requirements.
- Keep abreast of market trends, product landscape, and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT presales, consulting, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, cloud services, and software applications.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and customers.
- Experience with industry‑standard IT practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management tools and presales methodologies.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple, understandable terms.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
