We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to oversee our company's internal technology infrastructure while also leading and delivering IT projects for our external customers. The ideal candidate will be the bridge between technology and business goals, ensuring seamless internal operations and successful, on‑time project delivery for clients. This role requires a blend of strong technical knowledge, exceptional leadership, and proven project management skills, with a critical focus on establishing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures across all internal systems and customer‑facing solutions. A key aspect of this role is driving digital transformation initiatives within the company and for clients, leveraging process automation to enhance efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Internal IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, including networks, servers, operating systems, and cloud environments, to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Oversee daily IT operations, including performance monitoring, maintenance, and incident response, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution of technical issues for internal staff.
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of internal data and systems by implementing robust security protocols, conducting regular audits, and developing disaster recovery and backup procedures.
- Manage the help desk function, ensuring prompt and effective technical support to end‑users (internal employees) and coordinating support for escalated issues with the appropriate teams or vendors.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses to identify, prioritize, and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the management of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and encryption protocols.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
- Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with internal IT vendors and service providers, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), including third‑party risk management.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment.
- Manage the IT department budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Digital Transformation & Process Automation
- Drive the company's digital transformation roadmap, identifying opportunities to modernize internal systems and workflows.
- Analyze existing business processes across departments (e.g., operations, finance, sales) and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Evaluate new technologies and solutions that can benefit both internal operations and customer project delivery.
External Customer Project Management
- Lead IT projects for customers from initiation to completion, defining project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer projects, managing client expectations and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project team members (internal staff and external contractors) and assign individual responsibilities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure that all customer‑facing projects and solutions meet specific cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards as defined by client contracts and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud services).
- Demonstrable track record of successfully leading and managing multiple IT projects simultaneously for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and implementing process automation solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking, systems administration, virtualization, cybersecurity, data storage, cloud computing platforms and familiarity with automation tools/technologies.
