Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 214 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your Role

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the management, implementation, and maintenance of all hotel technology systems. You’ll ensure that our technology infrastructure supports efficient operations, protects data security, and enhances the guest experience. Your expertise will help drive reliability, connectivity, and innovation throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of all IT systems, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS), network infrastructure, and office systems.
  • Maintain data integrity, system security, and backup processes in compliance with Hyatt standards and data protection regulations.
  • Manage IT support for hotel departments, providing timely troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with minimal disruption.
  • Coordinate with corporate IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure system performance and timely implementation of updates or new technologies.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, including Wi‑Fi access and connectivity across guest and staff areas.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Train and support colleagues in the use of hotel technology, promoting awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Manage IT inventory, procurement, and lifecycle of hardware and software assets.
  • Support the rollout of Hyatt’s digital initiatives and ensure property readiness for corporate technology projects.
  • Participate in budget planning for IT expenditures and capital projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT management or technical support, preferably within a hospitality or service industry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and hospitality systems (PMS, POS, CRS).
  • Familiarity with Hyatt systems preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to respond to emergencies and perform on‑call duties as required.
