  • 10+ Years of Impact: Started with a simple idea—access to the best teachers shouldn’t be a luxury, and learning should energize, not drain you.
  • Market Leaders: 14 million students (and counting) use Noon across Middle East, Egypt, and Pakistan to ace high‑stakes exams like Qudurat & Tahsili.

  • Office: Full‑time, Riyadh‑based. We’ve got a sweet office near the Boulevard, and we’d love to have you in it.
About the Role

We’re looking for an IT Lead who can take full ownership of the technology setup across our partner schools — from planning new campuses to maintaining existing ones.

You’ll work closely with school leaders, facility teams, and Noon’s internal operations to ensure every classroom runs on reliable, secure, and scalable technology.

This role blends strategic planning, vendor management, and hands‑on technical work, while leading a small on‑ground team.

Key Responsibilities

🏫 School IT Planning & Execution

  • Partner with school leaders to assess technology readiness for existing and upcoming campuses.
  • Design and implement network and connectivity solutions (LAN/Wi‑Fi/5G) tailored to classroom needs.
  • Plan and manage hardware procurement (TVs, tablets, routers, cameras, speakers, etc.).
  • Evaluate, test, and recommend best‑fit tablets and devices for students and teachers.
  • Ensure all campuses meet performance, security, and scalability standards.

🤝 Coordination & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partner school administration and Noon’s facility team.
  • Coordinate with facility teams for infrastructure changes (e.g., cabling, electrical, or room layout modifications).
  • Obtain approvals or permissions from school management when new IT installations or modifications are required.
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact between Noon and partner schools for any tech‑related planning or issue escalation.

💻 Systems & Infrastructure

  • Oversee deployment and maintenance of internet solutions, MDM systems, and whitelisting controls.
  • Implement device management and monitoring policies for student and teacher devices.
  • Troubleshoot campus‑wide IT issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage relationships with ISPs, vendors, and hardware suppliers.

📊 Budget & Procurement

  • Maintain and track IT budgets for all campuses.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage procurement pipelines efficiently.
  • Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.

👥 Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of 4 (including yourself) handling on‑ground IT operations.
  • Assign and track daily campus‑level tasks, ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Coach IT team and establish clear SOPs and documentation for recurring operations.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, school IT, or network/system administration.
  • Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain multi‑campus networks (routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of MDM, network security, and endpoint management.
  • Hands‑on and solution‑oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in vendor management, procurement, and budgeting.
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders (school staff, vendors, internal facility teams).
  • Excellent communication in English & Arabic (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in educational or multi‑site environments.
  • Familiarity with Omada, Cisco, or Ubiquiti networking ecosystems.
  • Exposure to Google Workspace, Intune, or other MDM platforms.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
