Overview

The main responsibility of the Investment Sr. Analyst is to support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment opportunities through advanced financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence. You will develop transaction models, assess financial and strategic fit, and provide data‑driven insights that support decision‑making and value creation. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build detailed financial models for M&A targets, joint ventures, and investment opportunities. Conduct valuations using DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
  • Support end-to-end M&A processes including financial, commercial, and operational due diligence. Analyze financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and debt structures to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate the strategic rationale of potential investments, identify value creation levers, and quantify revenue or cost synergies.
  • Conduct sector and competitor research to validate market trends, competitive positioning, and strategic fit of target companies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, strategy) and external advisors (banks, consultants, auditors) during transaction execution.
  • Prepare investment memos, board materials, and executive summaries with clear recommendations and financial implications.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of investment evaluation frameworks, templates, and modeling standards.
