The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Manages interior design management systems, ensuring compliance with business, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Drives change and business improvement, delivering added value to clients.
  • Oversees all interior design phases, coordinating with construction, commercial, programme, and procurement teams.
  • Delivers elements of the annual business plan, meeting deadlines and budget targets.
  • Leads daily activities of design management teams, ensuring quality and timely outputs.
  • Ensures stakeholder briefs and requirements are met throughout the design process.
  • Provides operational support for deployed design management resources.
  • Presents KPIs and performance data to stakeholders for informed decision‑making.
  • Supports business development efforts, contributing to work winning activities.
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships and leverages internal knowledge networks for continuous improvement.
You’ll need to have:
  • Takes initiative, identifies opportunities or issues early, and brings forward ideas and improvements with ownership and resourcefulness.
  • Skilled in active listening, clear articulation, and adapting communication style to suit different audiences and situations.
  • Encourages teamwork, understands personal growth needs, and seeks support when necessary to enhance performance.
  • Strong background in design and construction, particularly within the Middle East and sports facilities, with deep knowledge of the RIBA plan of work.
