Job Purpose
Manage and develop the company's relationship with installment providers to ensure sales growth, smooth operations, compliance, and improved profitability of installment offers across all channels (store, e-commerce, mobile app).
Responsibilities
- Business and Contract Development
- Research and select suitable installment providers, and manage negotiations on terms, commissions, and service level agreements.
- Prepare and review agreements and addenda (fees, credit limits, return policy, disputes).
- Develop a map of installment offers tailored to different seasons and customer segments (0% fees/seasonal installments/down payment).
- Relationship and Partnership Management
- Serve as a single point of contact for each provider, and conduct monthly/quarterly performance review meetings.
- Lead joint marketing and sales plans (co-marketing) and define target shares/campaigns.
- Operational and Technical Integration
- Coordinate with the IT team to integrate APIs/SDKs/payment gateways and testing environments.
- Unify the customer journey across POS and e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor and manage downtime and errors with the provider and within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Governance, Compliance, and Risk
- Ensure installment offers comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage objections and disputes and establish a clear escalation mechanism.
- Financial Reconcilations and Reconciliation
- Monitor daily/weekly settlement and collection schedules and reconcile transactions with sales orders.
- Review discounts/commissions, administrative fees, and settlement variances, and address any discrepancies.
- Provide periodic financial reports on net income, revenue, and any outstanding amounts.
- Sales and Customer Service Empowerment
- Train sales and customer service staff on available installment programs.
- Monitor the customer experience from approval to delivery and after-sales support.
- Marketing and Sales Growth
- Monitor the implementation of installment campaigns (digital/in-store channels) and track their impact on sales.
- Analytics and Dashboards
- Build a dashboard showing: installment selection rate, approvals, rejections, cart value, conversion rate, and returns.
- Analyze reasons for rejections and improve policies with providers (thresholds, evaluation criteria).
- Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management: installment sales, profitability, risk indicators, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3–5 years of experience in partnerships management, financial services, or payment solutions — preferably in retail or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong knowledge of installment programs, BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) solutions, and payment gateway integrations.
- Solid understanding of contract negotiation, financial reconciliation, and commission structures.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage and influence external partners.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools for building performance dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
