Job summary

A leading aircraft maintenance provider in Riyadh is seeking an experienced professional to perform inspections during maintenance and modifications. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and overseeing the work of aircraft mechanics. A valid DGCA/GACA/FAA license or equivalent is required.

Job description

Responsibilities include:

• Performing inspections as required during maintenance, scheduled inspections, heavy maintenance checks and aircraft modifications to ensure compliance with the applicable aviation regulations, and companies policies and procedures, appropriate manufacturers’ manuals and contract specifications/provisions and to ensure that approved equipment and materials are being utilized.
• Recording all discrepancies detected during inspection and maintenance and communicating deficiencies to proper persons.
• Inspecting work of aircraft mechanics performing maintenance, repair and overhaul or modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Reviewing aircraft maintenance logbook entries and maintenance/inspection paperwork utilized in checks to ensure proper completion in accordance with Alsalam’s policies and procedures and executing an airworthiness release as appropriate.
• Overseeing the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components and ensuring that approved data is used for all repairs and re-work on aircraft or aircraft components.
