We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Inbound Supervisor to join our esteemed supermarket in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in managing the inbound logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are received, inspected, and stored in accordance with our high standards. The Inbound Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, coordinating with various departments, and implementing efficient processes to maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will leverage their previous warehouse experience to enhance operational efficiency and ensure that our supermarket is stocked with quality products for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound logistics operations, ensuring that products are received, inspected, and stored in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and mentor warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure that all team members adhere to safety and operational protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Work closely with purchasing and inventory management teams to forecast product needs and schedule timely deliveries.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes for receiving and storing goods, optimizing warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound operations and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety training sessions and audits for warehouse staff.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for inbound operations, ensuring effective cost management.
- Address any issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments, maintaining effective communication with suppliers and vendors.
- Promote a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and open communication among staff members.
