Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in identity and access management or cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities
  • Inputs into the design, implementation, and management of identity and access management processes and systems.

  • Inputs into the development of access policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data security and compliance.

  • Enforces access policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data security and compliance.

  • Manages the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts, ensuring timely and accurate access to IT systems based on roles and responsibilities.

  • Implements automated workflows for access requests, approvals, and revocations.

  • Performs periodic security assessments of identity and access management systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards.

  • Monitors user access patterns, permissions, and entitlements to detect and mitigate unauthorized or unusual activities.

  • Implements role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.

  • Implements and manages multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions to enhance user authentication processes.

  • Configures access controls based on user roles and data sensitivity.

  • Manages incident response efforts related to identity and access management, including investigating breaches and unauthorized access attempts.

  • Collaborates with vendors and service providers to implement and maintain identity and access management solutions.

  • Evaluates vendor products and services for compatibility and effectiveness.

  • Maintains thorough documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and changes.

  • Generates regular reports on access management activities, compliance status, and potential risks.

  • Performs any other related task as required.

To thrive in this role, you need to have
  • Seasoned technical knowledge of IAM concepts, technologies, and protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.).

  • Seasoned proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation is an advantage

  • Seasoned knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA)

  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to assess complex security scenarios

  • Great communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability

  • Ability to adapt to evolving IAM technologies, industry trends, and emerging threats

  • Ability to use problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems of complex scope.

Academic qualifications and certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Required experience
  • Seasoned experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or related roles.

  • Seasoned experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, or Okta.

  • Seasoned experience working within a global IT Services organization.
