The Cloud Solutions Architect – OCI & GCP is responsible for leading the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise cloud environments across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform. This role translates complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud architectures. You will establish standards, implement automation frameworks, and drive best practices for enterprise cloud adoption and modernization.
OCI Architecture: Design of VCNs, DRG/VCN peering, Bastion configurations, NSG vs. Security Lists, OCI Full Stack Disaster Recovery (FSDR), and OCVS SDDC deployments.
GCP Architecture: VPC design, Shared VPC setup, Cloud VPN/Interconnect, Cloud Router configurations, IAM roles and hierarchy (folders/projects), GKE networking.
Cross‑Cloud Networking: Experience with FastConnect, VPN tunnels, transit gateway equivalents across OCI and GCP.
Migration & Modernization: Lift‑and‑shift via HCX, VMware to OCVS migrations, refactoring workloads to cloud‑native services, database migrations (e.g., Autonomous DB to Cloud SQL).
IaC & Automation: Proficient in Terraform (OCI & GCP providers), Deployment Manager, Ansible, PowerShell DSC, CI/CD tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
Monitoring & Optimization: Implementation of OCI/GCP native monitoring and logging, vROps dashboard creation, and cost analysis tools.
Security & Compliance: IAM policies, KMS integrations, NSX‑T microsegmentation, and policy‑as‑code governance.
Advisory & Leadership: Leading architecture review sessions, conducting stakeholder briefings, delivering client‑facing workshops, mentoring, and driving knowledge transfer.
