Job Title: HVAC Technician

Position Reports to: Facilities Engineer

Location: Al Bahah, Saudi Arabia

SUMMARY: The HVAC Technician performs installations, preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation equipment. Presents a professional, positive and helpful attitude always when interacting with customers and co‑workers.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs HVAC system inspections and manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance
• Installs and repairs direct expansion air conditioning equipment to include window units, split type units and packaged units
• Carries out mechanical / electrical repairs to reciprocating chilled water units; air handling units, associated equipment and controls
• Disassembles, inspects and rebuilds reciprocating type compressors
• Troubleshoots both mechanical and electrical faults on the above-mentioned equipment
• Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:

• Vocational training in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation.
• Electrical knowledge of HVAC control systems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions in the English language.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to the HVAC trade.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
