About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, exhaust fans, walk‑in coolers, and freezers. Strong knowledge of chillers, VRV/VRF systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per the established schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment, and Work areas.
• Comply with JEMS and all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards.
• Maintain and service heating, cooling, and air‑handling units to ensure proper climate control in guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitor and adjust system parameters to optimize performance and energy efficiency.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Hold a Technical Diploma / ITI in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have at least a grade 10 level in education with a good moral background in his educational attainment.
• Possess software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate).
• Exhibit strong problem‑solving skills.
• Have 1+ years of experience in the technical department.
