Job summary

A prominent company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Government Relations Specialist to oversee Iqama management and ensure compliance with labor laws. You will monitor Saudization efforts, coordinate with government bodies, and maintain residency records. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in government relations within large organizations. Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Government Relations in a large company with 5,000+ employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee issuance, renewal, transfer, and cancellation of Iqamas.
  • Ensure timely execution of all Muqeem system services.
  • Monitor and track expiry dates and maintain accurate employee residency records.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of all requirements related to the Ministry of Labor (MOL).
  • Ensure compliance with government rules and regulatory updates.
  • Monitor Saudization progress and ensure compliance with Tawteen program requirements.
  • Prepare periodic Saudization reports for authorities.
  • Serve as the primary contact with government bodies.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee issuance, renewal, transfer, and cancellation of Iqamas.
  • Ensure timely execution of all Muqeem system services (printing, updating data, issuing reports).
  • Monitor and track expiry dates and maintain accurate employee residency records.
Compliance & Labor Law
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of all requirements related to the Ministry of Labor (MOL).
  • Ensure that all company operations follow government rules and regulatory updates.
Saudization & Tawteen Program
  • Monitor Saudization progress and ensure compliance with Tawteen program requirements.
  • Prepare periodic Saudization reports and submit required documentation to relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with HR to improve compliance and maintain required Saudization ratios.
Government Relations Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government bodies (Jawazat, Labor Office, Ministry of Interior, etc.).
  • Develop strong working relationships with government officials and service providers.
  • Ensure timely completion of government requirements and follow-ups.
Required qualifications
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in Government Relations with a high focus on the operations, preferably in a company with 5,000+ employees.
  • Required Skills: Strong understanding of government portals and administrative procedures.
