The HR Generalist will support all engineers deployed by managing their end‑to‑end HR operations, employee relations, and day‑to‑day needs. This role acts as the primary HR contact for onsite employees, ensuring smooth onboarding, travel and visa processing, timesheet governance, and performance coordination. The HR Generalist also collaborates closely with offshore engineers in Pakistan, Egypt, and India, and works with the Codeninja team to maintain compliance and deliver a consistent employee experience.

Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Act as the primary HR contact for all engineers and employees working onsite with clients in Saudi Arabia.
  • Handle day‑to‑day HR queries related to salary, insurance, travel, allowances, and policy clarifications.
  • Maintain a positive employee experience by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and escalating issues when needed.
Onboarding
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding processes for new joiners (documentation, orientation, client‑site readiness, system access).
  • Ensure all documents including visas, medical insurance, contracts, and compliance forms are completed.
Offboarding
  • Manage exit procedures including notice confirmations, equipment retrieval, clearance forms, and final settlement coordination.
  • Conduct exit interviews and share insights with HR leadership and country manager.
  • Ensure timely deactivation of access, benefits, and systems.
Travel & Visa Processing
  • Coordinate biannual travel cycles for offshore embedded teams.
  • Support employees in obtaining / renewing visas, Iqama, insurance, and travel documents.
  • Liaise with travel vendors, and government portals where needed.
  • Liaise with KSA finance team.
Attendance, Timesheets & Compliance
  • Monthly timesheet submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project delivery expectations.
  • Flag discrepancies and follow up with employees.
Performance Management
  • Support hiring managers with periodic evaluations, probation reviews, and performance improvement plans.
  • Track performance cycles and ensure documentation is timely and complete.
HR Administration & Coordination
  • Maintain HRIS / employee records and ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations.
  • Support local engagement initiatives, team meetups, and recognition activities.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HRBP roles, preferably within tech, IT consulting, or engineering services.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi HR processes including visas, Iqama, medical insurance, onboarding, and labor law basics.
  • Experience managing attendance, timesheets, leaves, and HR documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and countries.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Nice to Have
  • Arabic language proficiency (reading / writing / speaking).
  • Experience working with offshore or multicultural teams (Pakistan, Egypt, India).
  • Knowledge of GOSI, Qiwa, and other Saudi HR systems.
  • Experience supporting employees deployed at client sites.
