About the Role

Basmah Contracting Company Ltd. is seeking a qualified and dedicated Saudi Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi labor regulations, and assisting in recruitment, documentation, and employee relations functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support HR department in all administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintain employee records, files, and HR databases in compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in recruitment coordination — posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Prepare and process employment letters, salary certificates, and related HR documentation.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and update HR system records.
  • Coordinate with Government Relations Officer (GRO) for employee-related government transactions.
  • Assist in organizing staff training, performance appraisals, and other HR programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company HR policies.
  • Support HR Manager and HR Officers in any ad-hoc HR projects.
Qualifications
  • Nationality: Saudi National (Mandatory)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HR within a contracting, construction, or industrial company.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and HRDF / GOSI procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
