Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSE guidance and operational support to ensure safe practices have been followed across Jeddah factory operations.
- Lead the execution of Safety Excellence program and report performances to the HSE Team Leader.
- Collaborate with HSE team members to ensure effective implementation of safety and sustainability projects.
- Assist in planning and delivering site-wide HSE campaigns to enhance awareness and engagement.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE management system procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement programs focused on operational safety and environmental performance.
- Promote and facilitate the use of the Hempel Assure platform for proactive HSE observation reporting.
- Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead and participate in structured problem‑solving workshops to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Organise monthly sustainability meetings and communicate progress, challenges and action plans across teams.
- Monitor HSE compliance during night shift operations and ensure timely resolution of any deviations.
- Support waste management efforts and drive sustainability initiatives aligned with site objectives.
- Provide HSE guidance to contractors and vendors ensuring strict adherence to Permit‑to‑Work protocols.
- Coordinate with internal services and security teams to monitor site safety and compile accurate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or any other engineering field with globally recognised HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC).
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in health, safety and environmental roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems with practical experience in auditing and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and solid understanding of SharePoint, Power BI and Hempel Assure or similar HSE reporting platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
