Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be Under the direction of a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) Manager or Director, assist a Project or Program Manager in ensuring that site‑specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks are conducted in accordance with Parsons' risk management practices and comply with prevailing regulatory and client SH&E requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
  • Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.
  • Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
  • Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.
  • Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
  • Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
  • Performs trend analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.
  • Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.
  • Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
  • Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
  • Participates in routine safe work briefings.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety.
