Key Responsibilities
- Development and Implementation of HSE Policies: Design and enforce Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies specific to ICT projects ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Site Inspections and Compliance Audits: Carry out routine inspections and audits of project sites, particularly data centers, to ensure adherence to HSE standards and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Incident Investigation and Response: Lead investigation of HSE incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Training and Safety Culture: Develop and facilitate HSE training sessions for all project personnel to foster a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project operations are aligned with relevant health safety and environmental legislation and standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, reports, and training documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project teams to embed HSE practices into all phases of project planning and execution.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant HSE experience within the ICT sector or similar technical industries.
