Job summary

A leading project management company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to enhance safety practices and compliance. You will develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, conduct audits, and advise management on HSE issues. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the construction or infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.

JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Engineer to join our team. In this leadership role, you'll be instrumental in promoting a safe and compliant working environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute health, safety, and environmental management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
  • Facilitate training programs for employees to enhance awareness and adherence to safety practices.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of health, safety, and environmental incidents and compliance efforts.
  • Advise management on key HSE issues, developing action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices related to health, safety, and environmental management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, standards, and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are strongly preferred
